Your new company The services of Hays have been retained by our client, a large Housing Association based in Belfast, to recruit a Maintenance Planner on a temporary contract basis for a period of 6 months. Your new role You will manage the delivery of maintenance orders, including the scheduling, appointments and allocation of all technicians/engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to the Association's property portfolio. This will include: Making appointments for technicians and subcontractors. Scheduling technicians & engineers to ensure the first-time fix rate for clients is maximised. Scheduling all subcontractors, placing works orders and instructions with them. Ensuring that response maintenance and change of tenancy works are completed as soon as possible, minimising disruption to clients. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this position, you must possess: A high level of previous experience in the scheduling of technicians, engineers and/or subcontractors. A general knowledge of building maintenance, property or building services terminology. The ability to use IT \ database systems and keep task order records up to date. Working knowledge and experience of building maintenance statutory compliance. A minimum of 2 years' experience in the property, housing, maintenance or construction industry.
