Your new role As a Trainee Accountant, you’ll embark on a formal training contract to study for your ACA or ACCA qualification. Your responsibilities will include: Bookkeeping to trial balance Preparing VAT returns and reconciling balance sheet accounts Preparing annual statutory accounts and corporation tax returns Assisting with client payrolls, personal tax returns, and audits Supporting ad hoc assignments and contributing to process improvements This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (37.5 hours per week) and includes paid study leave. What you'll need to succeed Strong academic background: GCSE Maths and English (grade 6 or above) and ideally three A Levels, including Maths at grade B or above.
