* Collaborate with senior kitchen staff to implement effective management strategies, enhance operational efficiency and maintain high standards of quality.
* Oversee the preparation and presentation of exquisite pastries, ensuring consistency in flavours and presentation.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment.
* Develop creative menu ideas, collaborating with executive chefs to design and implement seasonal offerings and promotions.
* Train and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance on culinary techniques and best practices to ensure professional growth and skill development.
* Manage inventory control, including ingredient procurement and minimising waste. Collaborate with suppliers to maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
* Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and other departments to ensure seamless operations and efficient service delivery.
* Participate in the planning and execution of special events, banquets and catering functions, developing customised menus and overseeing food preparation to ensure timely service.
