Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapists to join a children home. The ideal candidates will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals facing various mental health challenges. This role involves assessing children's needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate children's mental health and emotional wellbeing.
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals.
* Provide one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
* Maintain accurate and confidential service user records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
* Monitor children's progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Facilitate group therapy sessions when required, promoting a supportive community among participants.
* Stay informed about the latest developments in the field of mental health and incorporate new techniques into practice.
Qualifications
* A relevant degree in the field relevant to your practice.
* Professional accreditation or licensure as a Therapist is required.
* Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory for newly qualified candidates.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective documentation and client interaction.
* Empathy, patience, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism are crucial.
* Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities is a strong advantage.
