Overview

At South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue, our vision is clear: to make South Yorkshire safer and stronger. This guiding principle shapes everything we do. We are driven by three core aspirations – to be a great place to work, to put people first, and to strive for excellence in all that we deliver.

Achieving these ambitions depends on having exceptional people in place. That’s why we’re seeking positive, proactive individuals to join our middle management cohort and play a key role in enhancing both our services and the working experience of our staff.

The Station Manager role at SYFR offers access to funded specialist development in areas such as Fire Investigation, Accident Investigation, and Hazardous Materials. It’s an opportunity to deepen your expertise while making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve. You’ll likely lead multiple teams, and your confident, exemplary leadership will be vital to success in this role. If this sounds like the next step in your journey, we welcome your application as outlined below.
