Job Description
Our Client & Marketing team is looking for a Business Development Manager to join the business on an initial 12-month FTC. Based out of any of our UK offices, this is a strategic role at the heart of our business development activity, acting as a trusted advisor to our Corporates Target Market Group and taking ownership of market strategy, client care, and business development initiatives across the Retail & Consumer and Manufacturing & Industrials sectors. Working alongside an established BD team, you will recommend and agree strategy and deliverables with sector leads, then drive successful execution.
Day-to-day, you will draw on a deep understanding of your target markets and our service offering to shape sector strategy, identify competitive positioning, and ensure our approach is genuinely differentiated. You will support bid development, identify new business opportunities, and provide proactive advice on how best to target and win specific work. You will also oversee profile-raising activity, including campaigns, PR, and events, ensuring all activity aligns with strategic priorities and the support of the wider Client & Marketing team.
The ideal candidate will be a credible, trusted advisor with strong organisational and project management skills, focused on quality over volume. Experience in the above mentioned sectors, would be highly beneficial, due to the extensive need of market knowledge to share with the TMG leads. A collaborative mindset and the ability to facilitate joined-up working across teams and regions will be key to success in this role, so someone who enjoys getting in front of their stakeholders would thrive in this role.
