We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Events and Communities Coordinator to join our Help Hub and Communities team, where you will play a key role in delivering engaging programmes that make a real difference to residents. This role offers the chance to have a visible and meaningful impact on the community, shaping events and engagement that bring people together and support positive outcomes for residents of all ages, by leading on a varied portfolio spanning events, arts and culture, community engagement and supporting Tots2Teens. About the Role You will work closely with communities, partners and stakeholders to plan, develop and deliver a diverse programme of events and engagement activity. From coordinating flagship events such as Community Awards and 10k races to supporting community-led initiatives and cultural programmes, you will ensure delivery is well-planned, inclusive and impactful. Your role will combine hands-on delivery with the provision of advice, guidance and resources to colleagues and community organisations. You will also play an important role in strengthening relationships across the community, including schools and cultural partners to increase opportunities for people to actively participate in local life. With a particular focus on ensuring inclusivity and improving access for vulnerable residents, you will contribute to the promotion and delivery of engagement activity, as well as manage relationships with cultural organisations, ensuring activities are delivered within budgets, timescales and objectives. About You You will have a proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. You'll be confident working with a range of stakeholders and building strong, positive relationships. We are looking for someone who has experience of engaging stakeholders and translating ideas and requirements into deliverable event plans.
