Senior Support Worker – CareTech

Working Hours: 40 per week
Salary: Up to £34,779 (depending on experience and qualification)

What You’ll Do
* Support young people with daily routines – getting them ready for school, meal times and activities.
* Create a warm, homely environment by assisting with light housekeeping.
* Lead shifts and deputise the home manager.
* Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
* Plan and facilitate fun activities e.g., trips to the park, movie nights, creative projects.
* Keep essential records to ensure best possible care.
Where You’ll Do It
At Hay Park, a residential home within the Cambian Group, which is registered to accommodate up to two young people with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties up to age 18. The home is part of the Cambian Group and is committed to providing individualised, child‑centred care. Currently the home is reopening and will provide care packages based on each child’s needs.
Who You Are
* Warm, patient, dedicated listener and encourager.
* Carrying a full UK driving licence.
* Hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
* Two years of working experience in a residential setting.
