Early Years Practitioner
Location: Wolverhampton
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: £85 – £110 per day
Contract: Full-time, ongoing, with potential for long-term placement

First for Education are seeking an enthusiastic practitioner to support a setting in Wolverhampton.
This is a part-time role, perfect for someone who thrives in a creative, child-centred environment and wants to make a positive impact on young learners at the very start of their education journey.
The role:

Support children in Early Years with their learning and development
*
Plan and deliver play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework
*
Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all pupils
*
Work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team
*
Observe and track pupil progress, contributing to learning journals
*
Provide care and support to meet children’s physical, social and emotional needs
What we’re looking for:

A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent)
*
Experience working in an EYFS setting (Nursery or Reception class)
*
Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding practices
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
*
An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
