This role, joining a growing design, manufacture and installation business, offers the ability to take full control of the accounting function within the business.
This is a standalone role suitable for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who can take full responsibility for the finance function. You will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations using Sage 50.
The role of Accounts Manager includes:-
* Full responsibility for purchase and sales ledger
* Bank reconciliations and cash flow management
* Monthly management accounts preparation
* Processing supplier payments and staff expenses
* VAT returns and submissions
* Payroll processing (if applicable)
* Liaising with external accountants for year-end accounts
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records on Sage 50
* Ad hoc financial reporting and administrative tasks
To be considered for the role of Accounts Manager, you should have:-
* Proven experience in a standalone accounts role or similar
* Proficient in Sage 50 Accounts (essential)
* Strong understanding of UK accounting principles and VAT
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage own workload
* AAT qualification (or equivalent) preferred but not essential
