Procurement & Supply Chain Manager
A highly successful and expanding SME business providing innovative products, seeking a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to play a strategic role in shaping a sustainable future.
Day to Day of the Role:
* Develop and implement purchasing and supply chain strategies to optimise efficiency and minimise costs.
* Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring timely delivery of quality products and services at competitive prices.
* Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and monitor inventory levels with effective management strategies.
* Forecast demand for products and services, control transport costs, and stay updated with import and export regulations.
* Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedules, and quality.
* Analyse supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and mitigate supply chain risks.
* Automate processes for increased efficiency and collaborate with marketing and sales teams on new product development.
* Leading a team to achieve business objectives alongside conducting annual reviews and handling HR-related issues
Required Skills & Experience:
* End-to-end supply chain experience
* Strategic mindset with strong analytical ability.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Experience with international suppliers and commercial awareness.
* Problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and leadership qualities.
