This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Conference Manager in our Chemical Portfolio. We organize exceptional events across Europe, Asia, and Latin America, including in-cosmetics Global, in-cosmetics Asia, in-cosmetics Korea, in-cosmetics Latin America, and ChemSpec. This role is responsible for building and managing content across all theatres and requires excellent research, communication skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to create compelling programmes tailored to specific audience personas.
Responsibilities
1. Utilize customer insights, needs, and behaviors to develop content strategies and plans for all events within the portfolio.
2. Generate high-quality, research-based conference agendas and event formats to meet the needs of different visitor personas and audience segments.
3. Identify, secure, and manage high-profile speakers from leading end-user organizations.
4. Collaborate with conference sponsors and their customers to ensure objectives of both exhibitors and visitors are met.
5. Work with the marketing team to support visitor engagement through messaging.
6. Contribute to the content marketing strategy by creating compelling content.
7. Collaborate with the sales team to understand exhibitor needs and identify sponsorship and new product opportunities.
8. Build long-term relationships with the publishing community and internal stakeholders in marketing, sales, and operations.
Requirements
* Previous experience in conference production.
* Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills.
* Ability to research new markets and deliver top-level programs within tight deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Effective people management skills and a team-oriented mindset.
