Water Hygiene Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Water Hygiene Technician to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
* Travel to customer sites to ensure water systems meet safety and compliance standards.
* Inspect and clean water storage vessels, including leading tank chlorinations.
* Install and service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs).
* Conduct routine monitoring tasks in line with HSG 274 Part 2, including flushing outlets, temperature monitoring, descaling showerheads, and flushing pressure vessels.
* Perform sampling for closed water systems.
* Use the SimPRO system to manage your workload efficiently.
* Identify potential issues and proactively provide solutions.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of HSE's ACoP L8 and HSG274 to uphold our professional and compliant reputation.
Qualifications
* A full, clean UK driving licence.
* City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training, equivalent qualifications, or relevant industry experience.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
* A commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance and professionalism.
Day-to-Day
* Visiting different customer sites to carry out inspections and maintenance.
* Ensuring water systems are safe and compliant through routine monitoring and cleaning tasks.
* Collaborating with a supportive team and using cutting-edge technology to manage your tasks.
* Building strong relationships with clients and delivering exceptional service.
