Assistant Accountant Leeds Hybrid working – 3 days onsite £30,000 to £35,000 A well-established business is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their finance team. This role would suit someone with previous experience within a finance environment who is looking to further develop their accounting knowledge within a large, collaborative and fast-paced business. Working closely with senior members of the finance team, you will gain exposure across a broad range of accounting duties and play an important role in supporting the month end process. Key responsibilities: • Assisting with preparation of management accounts • Accruals and prepayments • Balance sheet reconciliations • Processing journals • Supporting month end and year end processes • Investigating variances and resolving queries • Supporting with reporting and analysis The successful candidate will: • Have previous experience within a finance role • Be studying AAT, ACCA or CIMA, or be QBE • Have strong Excel skills • Be proactive with a positive attitude • Be able to work well both independently and as part of a team This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly reputable international business that can offer strong long-term progression, hybrid working and a supportive team environment.
