Litigation Solicitor - Dispute Resolution
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 (DOE)
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Litigation Solicitor to join a respected regional firm within their expanding Dispute Resolution team. This role offers a diverse and stimulating caseload, genuine career progression, and the chance to work alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive and collaborative environment.
This position will suit a solicitor with solid litigation experience who thrives on variety and is looking to develop further within a dynamic and client-focused practice.
The Role
You’ll handle a broad range of litigation matters, providing expert advice and representation to both individual and corporate clients. The work will include:
* Commercial and residential landlord & tenant disputes
* Building and construction disputes
* Professional negligence and contractual disputes
* Partnership and shareholder disputes
* Debt recovery and insolvency (corporate and personal)
* Contentious probate and inheritance claims, including:
o Contested wills and inheritance disputes
o Inheritance Act claims
o Removal of executors and estate disputes
o Financial provision for dependants
o Property and intestacy issues
You’ll also play an active part in the continued growth of the department through business development and networking initiatives.
About You
* Qualified Solicitor with a strong background in general litigation or dispute resolution
* Experience across one or more of the above practice areas
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
* Client-focused, commercially aware, and confident managing your own caseload
* ACTAPS membership or contentious probate experience advantageous but not essential
* Team player who enjoys collaboration, with a proactive approach to professional development
