We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic team players to join our Revenues and Benefits Service as a Revenues and Benefits Officer. Knowledge and previous experience of Council Tax and Council Tax Support would be beneficial; however, it is not essential as a full training package is offered for the right candidate.
You must have excellent written and verbal communication, along with fantastic customer service skills. You can handle sensitive issues in a professional manner and deal with difficult and possibly complex situations whilst helping customers who may be struggling financially.
Working as part of a busy team, your role will primarily include the Administration of Council Tax and Council Tax Support, Recovery of Council Tax arrears and the delivery of excellent customer service both face to face and over the telephone.
Additional duties may include working on Business Rates, Housing Benefit and Housing Benefit Overpayments.
