Overview
As a Senior Electrical Controls and Instrumentation (EC&I) Designer, you’ll play a crucial role in developing design solutions and ensuring high-quality outputs within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the preparation and production of drawings to the required quality standards.
* Promote effective collaboration across design and other functional teams.
* Allocate discipline tasks within your team and check outputs to ensure compliance.
* Advise on appropriate methods, tools, and technical approaches for tasks.
* Assist in resolving technical queries and developing discipline-specific solutions.
* Act as design lead when required, ensuring delivery against scope and schedule
Experience Required
* Demonstrated experience in a detailed design environment.
* Strong knowledge and practical use of CAD tools.
* Proven track record of working within multi-discipline engineering teams.
* Ability to provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship.
Qualifications
* HNC / HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject.
* Membership of a professional institute (preferred, not essential).
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
