Role Overview: You will be a BACP, or equivalent, Accredited Practitioner with substantial experience of working with a wide range of clients and time-limited work, along with training and experience in CBT and specialist areas. Knowledge and experience in workplace counselling, related research, and the ethical challenges in this area are preferred.
Supported by a team of experienced counsellors, your responsibilities include managing and delivering a staff counselling and support service across multiple sites, both face-to-face and remotely. The role requires personal time management, ongoing professional development, and adherence to supervision requirements.
Main Duties:
1. Manage and deliver a comprehensive staff counselling and support service to Trust staff and other organizations at all levels.
2. Develop the service and adapt to changing demands.
3. Promote the service within the Trust and collaborate with the health and wellbeing team.
4. Maintain your CPD and supervision requirements.
5. Contribute to Trust policies related to the service.
6. Work confidentially and sensitively with managers and staff, handling highly personal information.
Working Pattern: 15 hours per week, spread over two days.
