Due to the ongoing growth of our sustainability services we are looking for a Sustainability Consultant to join our built environment Sustainability team in either Bristol or London to support and provide specialist input with developing low carbon, sustainable solutions for a range of projects from organisational strategy to urban regeneration projects and strategic new settlements. You'll be an integral part of our collaborative and growing team, playing a key role in the development and delivery of a pipeline of exciting and complex projects.

About You
Your role will include:
* Work closely with our project teams, guiding current development schemes in relation to environmental sustainability and carbon management;
* Embed net zero principles and climate resilience into developments;
* Undertake carbon and wider sustainability assessments on a range of projects. These will include Energy Strategies, Sustainability Statements and Whole Lifecycle Carbon Assessments;
* Assist with our bids for future work;
* Assist with the carbon/energy element of organisational sustainability strategy development supporting our top clients to achieve long-term sustainable growth;
* Undertake research to assist with the development of innovative new services;
* Produce high quality written reports;
* Prepare thought pieces and blogs within your area of expertise;
* Assist with internal and external presentations; and
* Attend site visits and project meetings.
It Is Likely That You Will
* Have experience with Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) and Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) calculations and be familiar with OneClick LCA software;
* Have knowledge of Overheating Assessments and Circular Economy principles;
* Have a relevant degree at 2:1 or above and membership of a relevant professional institution;
* Have a good knowledge of the planning system;
* Broad understanding of environmental, social, economic and sustainability trends and drivers;
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Be able to build relationships with a range of stakeholders;
* Have an ability to manage your own time and workload;
* Be proficient with Microsoft packages particularly Excel; and
* Hold a full UK driving licence and are willing to travel nationally.
