Job Description
Key responsibilities of a live-in Care Assistant:
* Companionship: Being a friendly face and supportive presence, sharing meals and engaging in the client's favourite hobbies and interests.
* Personalised care: Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing and grooming, always maintaining the client's dignity.
* Household management: Helping with light housework, laundry and grocery shopping.
* Nutritional support: Preparing fresh, healthy meals and ensuring the client is eating and drinking well.
* Health and safety: Managing medication reminders and supporting mobility to prevent falls.
* Independence advocacy: Helping clients remain active in their community, whether that's welcoming visitors to the home or visiting friends.

Qualifications
Experience in care is preferred for applicants for a live-in role. Successful applicants will be required to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant body.
