Are you an experienced registration professional looking for your next challenge? Torfaen County Borough Council is seeking an accomplished, meticulous individual to join our Registrars service.
In this vital role, you will carry out the statutory duties of a Deputy Superintendent Registrar and Deputy Registrar, conducting customer interviews for births, deaths, and stillbirths, and registering civil marriages, partnerships, and citizenship ceremonies across the borough. The role also includes delivering non‑statutory celebratory services.
As the successful candidate, you will have excellent customer care and communication skills, be computer literate, and feel confident adapting to situations in a composed, professional manner. You must hold GCSE Grade C or above in English and Mathematics, alongside the Nationally Accredited Programme (NAP) qualification OR have extensive operational experience working within the Civil Registration Service.
