Description Why Ocado? At Ocado Logistics, our mission is to provide an outstanding customer experience for our partners by developing groundbreaking technology and changing the way the world shops for good. We are the beating heart of the UK business, using our proprietary technology across the supply chain to deliver an exceptional experience while providing "bags of possibilities" for our employees. About the Role We wouldn't be able to keep our vans delivering without a passionate team ensuring our fleet is fit for purpose. We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Fleet Delivery team to manage the full lifecycle of our vehicles, from initial planning and build with manufacturers to decommissioning and disposal. This is a practical, high-impact role where you will ensure our fleet meets business demands and moves through its lifecycle on time and to budget. You will be: Planning new requirements and working with OEMs and converters to ensure vehicles are built and delivered on time. Managing lease contract maturity, ensuring vehicles are fully decommissioned, and assets are stripped and returned correctly. Working closely with Delivery Operations, retail partners, and external suppliers to keep the fleet operational. Leading practical projects like mileage balancing and investigating onsite solutions to identify areas for improvement. Handling finance/maintenance quotations, vehicle taxing, and Capex paper preparation for senior leadership sign-off. About you: You have a solid understanding of commercial vehicles and their unique requirements. You don’t need a Prince2 or similar PM qualification; we value initiative, problem-solving, and the ability to work under pressure! You can build relationships with vehicle converters, manufacturers and OEMs while keeping senior leadership informed. You are proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Suite and have a current UK driving licence. You are comfortable working with minimal supervision and can manage multiple build schedules simultaneously. You are flexible. Can be remote and onsite when needed, able to travel to multiple sites in our Fleet network when needed. What you can expect to receive in return: At Ocado, we believe in a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported. Pension scheme with up to 7% employer matching, Income Protection, and Life Insurance. Private medical insurance, dedicated wellbeing apps, and an Employee Assistance Programme. 25 days holiday (rising to 27), maternity/paternity support, and a Cycle to Work scheme. 15% discount on Ocado.com and various retail/restaurant savings.
