H2OiQ Ltd specialise in water consumption reduction and are delivery partners for a number of water companies. We survey, report and install water efficient equipment into commercial buildings. We also design and manufacture innovative water and energy saving products.
Plumbing Director – Areas of Responsibility
* People management and support for the technical services team
* Client communications and customer service
* Data processing, report writing, IT systems analysis and maintenance
* Service level management
* Systems and process management
The Plumbing Director will lead the smooth and efficient functionality of our technical department. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our operations team, managing and optimising service processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This is a key leadership position that requires excellent management skills and a passion for delivering on-time, exceptional service.
You will oversee the daily running of company operations and provide strategic vision and leadership to all aspects of operational management. The ideal candidate will have excellent financial, administrative, organisational and leadership skills, and be reliable, patient and discreet, with an excellent communication style. You must be friendly, professional and approachable. You will have experience of working in a busy environment, with the ability to meet deadlines in pressured situations.
This role requires a strong background in plumbing, water systems or the wider water industry. Candidates without relevant industry experience cannot be considered.
Other operational responsibilities include oversight of budget, strategic planning and customer support, alongside driving implementation of best practice throughout the company.
The Person
We are looking for someone who can combine proven plumbing expertise with strong leadership:
* Demonstrable experience in plumbing, water systems or the wider water industry (essential)
* Excellent people management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a technical team
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH and environmental responsibilities
* Confident communicator with the ability to build trust with colleagues, clients and partners
* Financial awareness, ideally with experience of managing budgets and resources
* Good IT skills, including MS Office and CRM systems
Package
* 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
* Full Time: 40 hours per week, 52 weeks, Monday to Friday
* Flexibility in hours will be required to meet the needs of colleagues, clients, meet deadlines, or in the event of emergencies
