Position Overview:
The successful candidate will lead business development activities, drive sales, and manage marketing and customer service in the UK market. They will play a key role in expanding the company's presence and generating new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* Prospect and develop new business opportunities within the UK market, targeting potential and existing customers.
* Develop and execute business and regulatory plans for the UK, meeting operational objectives.
* Identify opportunities from marketing leads and manage relationships with local partners.
* Report market information to headquarters in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with departments to establish operational processes for the UK.
* Enhance brand awareness of the company and its products in the UK.
* Provide excellent customer service and prompt solutions to inquiries.
Qualifications and Skills:
* At least 2 years of experience in business development or sales within molecular pathology or IVD markets.
* BSc or MSc in Life & Science, Molecular Pathology, Clinical Medicine; MBA or PhD is a plus.
* Good knowledge of the local molecular pathology market; international experience preferred.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strategic and creative thinking with attention to operational details.
* Energetic with a strong motivation to identify new business opportunities quickly.
* Familiar with selling imported products in Europe.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in German is advantageous.
Additional Information:
This position requires an EU work permit.
