Responsibilities
* Produce drainage and highway designs in relation to the relevant Section Agreements (S104, S38, S278)
* Prepare technical assessments and other documents for new developments
* Check and amend technical drawings and reports for submission
* Support colleagues and clients in understanding technical concepts
* Prepare and supervise presentations for internal and external stakeholders
* Manage projects to ensure work is undertaken within budget and timeframes, to the highest standards
* Liaise closely with clients and Project Managers regarding project delivery
* Ensure industry standards and regulations are always complied with
Required Skills & Experience
* Degree (or equivalent higher qualification) in Civil Engineering or a related field
* Extensive experience in an infrastructure design role within a UK consultancy
* Demonstrable experience of preparing designs in relation to Section Agreements, including S38, S278, S104
* Excellent working knowledge of MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow, AutoCAD and Civil 3D
* Experience producing Flood Risk Assessments and designing drainage strategies
* Knowledge of relevant design standards such as Sewers for Adoption, DMRB, national planning policy
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Full, valid UK driving licence
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Outstanding literacy and numeracy skills
* Prior experience managing stakeholders
