Job Title: Sales Recruiter Location: Chelmsford, Essex Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 Uncapped comms Reports To: Recruitment Manager / Sales Director Job Purpose: We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Recruiter to source, attract, and place top-performing sales professionals across a range of industries and sectors. You’ll play a key role in identifying commercially-minded candidates who thrive in target-driven environments, helping our clients grow high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full 360 recruitment cycle, specialising in placing sales talent (e.g., BDMs, Account Managers, SDRs, Sales Managers) Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their sales hiring needs and team dynamics Write compelling job adverts tailored to attract top-tier sales professionals Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, CRM/ATS systems, referrals, and networking Conduct in-depth screening interviews to assess sales ability, motivation, and cultural fit Coach candidates through the interview process, offering CV and interview preparation support Negotiate offers and manage placements from acceptance through to onboarding Consistently hit performance targets and KPIs related to placements, pipeline, and client satisfaction Stay current on industry trends and market intelligence across sales functions and sectors Skills & Experience: Proven experience in recruitment, ideally with a focus on sales/commercial roles A strong understanding of what makes a successful salesperson across various verticals (B2B, B2C, SaaS, etc.) Excellent sourcing skills using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and CRM systems Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Commercially minded with a consultative, value-led approach Preferred Background: Experience placing candidates at various seniority levels (from Sales Executives to Sales Directors) Background in agency recruitment or internal talent acquisition with sales-specific experience A background in sales yourself is a bonus — you understand the mindset and can speak the language What’s on Offer: Competitive salary uncapped commission Clear career progression with opportunities to grow into senior or leadership roles Hybrid working with flexibility Regular team incentives, social events, and individual rewards Tools of the trade: LinkedIn Recruiter, premium job boards, modern CRM system Supportive, ambitious team culture with a "work hard, win big" mentality Ready to recruit the best in sales? ??
