 
        
        Therapeutic Activity Worker – Adult Mental Health
Join the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde team as a Band 3 Therapeutic Activity Worker to support adult mental health patients.
Role Overview
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver and support a range of structured and informal therapeutic activities, both one‑to‑one and in group settings, to promote engagement, wellbeing, and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
 * Plan and deliver therapeutic activities tailored to patient needs, such as guided walks, stress‑management and relaxation sessions, basic sleep hygiene, arts, crafts, music and reminiscence‑based sessions.
 * Work collaboratively with nursing, occupational therapy and medical staff to identify and support patient activity goals.
 * Build therapeutic relationships that encourage engagement, motivation and recovery.
 * Support the safe and inclusive facilitation of groups and maintain clear boundaries and appropriate interactions at all times.
 * Contribute to care planning, reviews and documentation as appropriate to the role.

Shift Pattern
4/7 shifts, including public holidays and weekends.
