Head Of Sales - Up to £75k basic + bonus + company car allowance
The role will involve travelling to meet clients across the North West and North of Birmingham.
Our client is a leading provider of specialist healthcare facilities across the UK.
Reporting into the MD, this position offers fantastic career progression, excellent bonus and company car allowance. The ideal candidate will deliver a strategy to the sales team in order to drive sales and grow revenue.
You will have come from a background in business development or sales within the healthcare, or construction sectors, with a focus on high-value asset sales.
Attention to detail and the ability to communicate in a clear and authoritative manner is key and the candidate must be able to demonstrate this.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively identify new business opportunities within the NHS and private healthcare sectors, targeting decision‑makers involved in facilities management and procurement.
* Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key stakeholders within healthcare institutions, construction partners, and other relevant sectors.
* Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, including overseeing the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals
* Effectively communicate the benefits of the company by delivering engaging presentations and demonstrations.
* Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs
* Lead contract discussions and negotiations to secure new business, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both the client and the organisation.
* Overseeing a small sales team and ensuring that they are working towards the strategy.
Key Requirements:
* Demonstrable success in business development, sales, or client acquisition within healthcare, construction, mechanical, electrical or related sectors.
* Previous experience in managing a long sales process
* Strong understanding of the UK healthcare system
* Be able to demonstrate an understanding of technical products
* Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
* Experience managing high‑value deals
* Able to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Ideally, experience in managing a sales team previously.
