Region: NCE > SBU NCE Service > Technical and Commercial Planning
The Service department, headquartered in Warrington, UK, is responsible for the service and maintenance of all Vestas wind turbines in the UK. The department fosters an open and informal culture where partnership and communication are key to success. Join us in an exciting, fast-growing industry environment.
Responsibilities
1. Plan and schedule service and corrective orders, providing technical solutions for technicians
2. Define resources needed for service orders, such as competencies, materials, and tools
3. Apply technical solution procedures and create technical work instructions
4. Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders (service technicians, back office, etc.)
5. Drive continuous improvement in the planning process in terms of structure, process, and strategic planning for future tasks
6. Support Service Process Development and handle ad hoc tasks
Qualifications
* A degree in a relevant area (e.g., engineering or technical field)
* Preferably several years of work experience in a technical environment, or wind turbine technicians/senior qualified engineers (e.g., mechanical or electrical)
* Excellent written and spoken English skills
Competencies

* Good communication and collaboration skills
* An interest in wind turbine service planning and technical documentation
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written
* Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
* The ability to work under time pressure, manage deadlines, and handle various variables and tasks
