Building Services Management Higher Apprenticeship

As a Building Services Management Trainee at Wates, you’ll be given the unique opportunity to learn about the design, installation and maintenance of the essential services and equipment that make a great building. With a focus on the technical and commercial aspects of projects, you will develop your experience across a project’s entire life cycle, to understand how everything fits together.


What you will do

* Learn how mechanical and electrical services are designed, installed and maintained.
* Research current and emerging technology, understanding how it can be used to produce safe, sustainable, innovative and cost-effective solutions.
* Monitor essential progress and information to support team meetings.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Commercial and Planning, to observe and learn about their processes for delivering a project.

Entry requirements

* You must have achieved grade 4/C or above in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
* You must have obtained or be working towards a minimum of 2 A-Levels at grade D or above, or an equivalent qualification, such as: Level 3 NVQ.
* T-Level.
* Or other comparable Level 3 qualifications.

Programme duration

This is a 3-year apprenticeship programme, combining practical experience with formal training. You’ll work towards a Level 4 qualification while gaining hands-on experience in the industry.
