Join Our Team as a Staff Nurse – Acute Medical Ward
Due to recent expansion, we are seeking highly motivated Staff Nurses to join our acute nursing team on our newly opened 14-bed dedicated Acute Medical Ward at The Wellington Hospital—the UK’s largest private hospital, rated “Good” by the CQC. This ward supports our on-site Acute Admissions Unit, providing exceptional care to medical patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care by assessing, planning, and implementing individualised care plans.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing continuous monitoring and clinical support for patients with acute medical conditions.
* Respond swiftly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns when necessary.
* administer medications, assist with diagnostic procedures, and liaise with consultants and allied healthcare professionals.
* Support patients and their families throughout the hospital journey.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
* Assist with research-based practice and participate in quality improvement initiatives to advance clinical excellence within the ward.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse Level 1 – NMC Registration
* Experience within a medical ward
* Experience in NHS or Private Hospital settings
