Semi / Senior Accountant
Location: Rotherham
Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE)
Hours: Full-time, office-based
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Semi/Senior Accountant to join our growing practice in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with at least 3 years of UK practice experience to take the next step in their career within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of year-end statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
* Assisting with corporate and personal tax compliance
* Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide general support
* Supporting junior team members where required
* Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
* Working closely with managers and partners to deliver high-quality client service
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a UK accountancy practice
* ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified support available for those studying towards their qualifications
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and UK reporting standards
* Confident working with clients and handling queries independently
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) is advantageous
