Role Overview:
As a Senior Amazon Account Executive at Threepipe, you will drive the planning and execution of high-impact Amazon growth strategies, integrating retail fundamentals, advertising performance, and emerging technologies such as AI-driven optimisation and advanced media measurement. You will manage client accounts, ensuring operational excellence and delivering best-in-class marketplace strategies across both Amazon retail and advertising activities. Working closely with the Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, and Account Director, you will contribute to campaign strategy, performance optimisation, and client reporting, as well as participate in client calls and presentations. Additionally, you will help develop our Amazon capability by sharing insights, best practices, and innovative ideas to strengthen our marketplace offering. This role is based in London.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver commercially focused Amazon marketplace strategies and manage day-to-day performance of assigned campaigns or workstreams.
* Contribute to the development and execution of integrated Amazon strategies across retail operations, advertising, and content optimisation.
* Plan, launch, and optimise Amazon advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Amazon DSP), ensuring strong performance and continual improvement.
* Conduct keyword, competitor, and category research to enhance visibility, market share, and campaign effectiveness.
* Optimise product detail pages, including titles, descriptions, imagery, A+ Content, and Brand Stores to drive conversions and organic growth.
* Leverage automation tools, AI-driven optimisation platforms, and analytics to identify and implement performance improvements and efficiencies.
* Monitor campaign and retail performance, providing regular reports, clear insights, and actionable recommendations to clients.
* Manage campaign optimisation, including bid adjustments, targeting, budget pacing, testing strategies, and quality assurance checks.
* Stay current with Amazon ecosystem developments, including new ad formats, AI tools, measurement techniques, and marketplace features.
* Support the Marketplace team through knowledge sharing, best practices, new business contributions, and the evaluation and implementation of innovative tools and technologies.
About the Candidate:
* Degree with a minimum of a 2:1 classification, ideally in business, marketing, economics, or a mathematical/science discipline.
* Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Amazon advertising, marketplace management, or retail media.
* Hands‑on experience managing Amazon Sponsored Ads campaigns, including setup, optimisation, and reporting.
* Experience working with ecommerce brands or marketplace clients, preferably in an agency or retail setting.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights.
* Skilled in analysing performance data and providing insight‑driven recommendations to clients or stakeholders.
* Familiarity with Amazon DSP, Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), or retail media measurement frameworks is highly desirable.
* Proficient in using Amazon third‑party tools such as Skai, Pacvue, Helium 10, or MerchantSpring.
* Experience working across multiple Amazon marketplaces is beneficial.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities
* Additional language skills are an asset.
