Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: Grade 13, £24,796 FTE per annum (Actual Salary based on weeks worked and hours: £11,232.99 p.a.)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 20 per week (Monday to Friday), term time only, excluding INSET days (38 weeks)

The Role:

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity in our Resource Base for a dedicated and resourceful Care Assistant. Blackhorse Resource base is a 22 place specialist Resource for children with Autism and Social Communication needs and is an integral part of our mainstream primary school experience.
The successful candidate will:
✅ Be passionate about making a difference to all children
✅ Have experience of supporting children, ideally within a pre-school, school or classroom environment
✅ Have experience of working with children with SEND and specifically neurodivergence
✅ Be aspirational for every child and believe that all pupils can learn – even if they haven’t learnt something yet
✅ Be flexible and able to adapt their practice to support effective learning
✅ demonstrate recent experience of working as part of an effective and flexible team
✅ Build strong, positive relationships with colleagues, children, and families
✅ Be a reflective practitioner with a strong desire to learn and continually improve
