Role: Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid)
Salary: £50,-£60, Car Allowance

The Role:
We're looking for a Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to support the sales team in delivering best-in-class technical solution design and client proposals. You'll play a key role in scoping projects, completing IT audits, and supporting client meetings with your technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Define scope, goals, and deliverables for complex IT projects
2. Translate business needs into technical specifications and Bill of Materials
3. Collaborate with sales to prepare proposals and supporting documentation
4. Attend client meetings to provide technical input and handle queries
5. Conduct detailed IT audits and recommend tailored solutions
6. Develop business cases for new technologies and service enhancements
7. Mentor colleagues and contribute to team development
8. Stay up-to-date with industry and technology trends
Experience & Skills:
9. Pre-sales, solution scoping, and technical planning experience
10. Strong background as a field engineer in SME environments
11. Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences
12. Experience supporting multi-site clients and working to SLAs
13. Expertise in Microsoft, Azure, Windows Server, Exchange, Teams
14. Hands-on with Hyper-V/VMware, Active Directory, Endpoint Management
15. Skilled in SAN/NAS storage, LAN/WAN, VPNs, Firewalls (Cisco, Meraki, Sophos)
16. Familiar with server hardware, RAID, and virtualization platforms
17. Able to plan and support large-scale infrastructure migrations
18. Strong problem-solving and project delivery skills
