Executive Assistant to the CEO Renewable Energy Firm West End, London £65,000–£75,000 Permanent, Full-Time We are partnering with a high-growth, multi-venture organisation to hire a world-class Executive Assistant to support a high-performing and fast-paced CEO. We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running. The CEO brings deep experience from global investment banking and now leads a group of ventures across infrastructure, technology, sustainability, and social impact. This is a role where excellence is the baseline — we’re looking for someone who can be a true force multiplier, not just a gatekeeper. What You’ll Be Doing Full ownership of calendar and inbox management — prioritising, adapting, and keeping things moving. Enabling high-impact meetings with investors, government officials, advisors, and global partners — from boardrooms to briefings at 10 Downing Street. Being the CEO’s right hand — ensuring time is spent where it adds the most value. Supporting wider business ventures including a foundation and overseas hospitality project (no household or personal admin). Acting as a strategic conduit between the CEO and the wider organisation — ensuring smooth day-to-day flow and long-term impact. What You’ll Need Experience supporting senior leaders in fast-paced, high-pressure environments — ideally in consultancy, financial services, government, or high-growth businesses. Strong emotional intelligence and resilience — the CEO communicates in a direct, often blunt style and values someone who can absorb feedback, not take things personally, and keep things on track. Confidence and presence — able to represent the CEO with senior external stakeholders managing hundreds of millions in capital. High standards, humility, and warmth — the ideal candidate is easy to interact with, collaborative, and able to build trust across the organisation. Exceptional organisational skills and adaptability — you’ll need to pivot frequently and thrive on the unexpected. The Ideal You You’ve supported demanding executives and know how to bring clarity to chaos. You’re used to an ever-evolving scale-up environment and can pre-empt what’s needed before it’s asked. You thrive in-person and value spontaneous collaboration – this is a fully office-based role with regular, informal daily contact. You’re well-educated, articulate, and comfortable in high-stakes environments. You bring both gravitas and approachability – no ego, no drama, just high performance. Logistics Working hours: 9am–5pm, with light evening support once per week. Minimal weekend work (only for board meetings or major deliverables). Location: Fully office-based in St James’s, London. Remote flexibility only when CEO is travelling. Travel: CEO travels ~5–10 days/month across the UK, Europe, and Asia. Benefits 25 days holiday bank holidays Discretionary annual bonus Private medical insurance (option to include dependents at own cost) Critical illness cover (60% of base salary for 3 years, with 5% annual growth) Life assurance (4x base salary)
