We're looking for a New Connections Senior Surveyor to join our South West Water team based in Devon & Cornwall.

Devon & Cornwall – remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required
Hours:
45 hours per week – full-time
What will you be responsible for?
As a New Connections Senior Surveyor, you'll support the South West Water team by delivering safe, accurate, and timely new connection surveys that enable construction works and enhance customer satisfaction.
Your day-to-day will include:
1. Acting as the first point of contact for technical queries and survey escalations within the surveying and office teams.
2. Planning and conducting site surveys for new connections in compliance with regulatory and health & safety standards.
3. Providing mentoring, guidance, and technical support to fellow surveyors.
4. Ensuring survey documentation, site records, and feedback are completed accurately and submitted on time.
5. Liaising with clients, customers, and third parties to support project delivery and manage expectations.
What are we looking for?
This role is ideal if you:
1. Hold NRSWA Operative training and certifications such as EUSR National Water Hygiene, SHEA Water, SCMC, and CAT.
2. Have experience surveying potable water networks and understand the New Connections process.
3. Are confident using IT systems and mobile devices, and can support others with best practices and technical knowledge.
