About the Role
Are you passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences for students? Do you have a knack for leading teams to success? We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Schools Catering Team Leader to manage operations across 15 schools in different locations, overseeing a team of 80 talented catering staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage catering operations across 15 schools, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Supervise and motivate a team of 80 catering staff members, providing guidance, training, and support.
Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety in accordance with regulations.
Oversee inventory management, ordering, and stock control to minimise waste and optimise costs.
Collaborate with school Head Teachers, Business Managers, and staff to address feedback, concerns, and special requests.
Implement and enforce policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor budgets, financial reports, and performance metrics to achieve targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in catering, with a strong culinary background and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
Outstanding customer service skills, with a focus on meeting and exceeding client expectations.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple schools and tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the catering industry.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Flexibility to travel between school locations as needed, have a full a driving licence and use of a car daily is essential.
