The Role as HGV Class 2 Cover Driver: Youll be working on bin collection routes, providing vital support across the operation. As a cover driver, youll step in to cover: Planned holidays Staff absences or sickness recovery Additional operational demand This role is best suited to a proactive and adaptable driver whos comfortable starting work early and enjoys a mix of routine and change. Youll be expected to work as part of a crew and contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of the daily route. You will be required to be available Monday to Friday ? What Were Looking For as HGV Class 2 Cover Driver: A valid Category C (Class 2) licence Valid CPC and Tachograph card Previous experience in waste management or similar sectors is desirable but not essential A positive attitude, good team ethic, and a strong work ethic Punctuality and reliability for 4:00 AM starts ?? Pay Rates: Standard hourly rate: £15.69 per hour Overtime rate: £18.94 per hour Holiday Pay Included: Yes Once Permanent: Our client is offering a starting salary of £28,204.80 per annum with for overtime and bank holiday working. ??
