Chef Manager
Pertemps Network Catering is currently recruiting for a temporary, possibly permanent, Chef Manager to work alongside our clients at a college in the Northfield area.
Hours: 8 am - 4 pm
Days: Monday - Friday
Enhanced DBS clearance required.
This position involves working in a college setting, responsible for preparing well-balanced and appetising meals for approximately 100 to 800 students, supporting their overall well-being and academic achievement.
Chef Manager Responsibilities:
* Comply with health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
* Oversee food production and cooking processes.
* Manage food ordering and supplies.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
* Adapt menus to accommodate dietary needs and allergies.
* Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste minimisation.
* Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and report issues.
* Assist in maintaining inventory records and managing budgets.
Chef Manager Qualifications:
* GNVQ Level 2/3 in Catering or equivalent.
