The Best Connection are looking to recruit a Factory Supervisor/Manager to join our clients food manufacturing facility based near Howden. This is initially a temporary position but it is with a view to go permanent, following a successful probation period. Roles & Responsibilities: To manage the factory labour force. Ensure the entire team, observes Health, Safety and Food hygiene regulations and practices. Reporting to and assisting the Senior Manager with the general day to day running of the Factory. Reporting and documenting of all factory based processes and events. Control rotas and ensure continued workflow across the team. Monitor output of finished components. Quality control. Receive the production plan sheets and allocate to the chosen teams / operatives. Ensure that the Factory Management Plan is adhered to including general tidiness, pedestrian and vehicular barriers, walkways, loading and storage areas. General maintenance of the factory and office including external areas and gates, reporting any issues.
