Purpose of thejob
Collinson Insuranceoffers personal lines insurance in travel accident & healthand a range of ancillary products including home and motor relatedlines.
The Associate Claims Auditor will reportto the Claims Auditor to assist with the delivery of riskbasedclaims audits for Collinson Insurance. This will involve technicaloversight of external and intercompany outsourced claims andassistance arrangements.
Under the supervisionof the Claims Auditor the Associate Claims Auditor will measure theeffectiveness of internal and external suppliers through the mediumof Closed File Reviews (CFR). The reviews will seek to measureadherence to policy terms and conditions delivery againstcontracted KPI and SLAs and regulatory requirements including thetreatment of vulnerable customers. Our partners are located acrossthe UK and internationally.
KeyResponsibilities
* Supportthe Claims Auditor to effectively schedule and plan assigned CFRsto ensure completion of scope within the agreedtimeframes
* Support regular visits to supplieroffices within the UK and internationally as required to completefieldwork through the medium of the CFRprocess
* Produce detailed audit reports to ahigh standard outlining findings andrecommendations
* Build and maintaincollaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders andsuppliers
* Work with the Claims Auditor toimplement changes and improvements identified through the CFRregime
* Keep up to date on regulatory andindustry developments so that this knowledge can be applied to theaudit process
* Maintain audit records with coredocumentation working papers and supportingevidence
* Escalate any significant concerns tothe Claims Auditor
* Support the Claims Auditorand the wider claims business area with other tasks in line withthe role that may berequired
Regulatoryresponsibilities
* Adhereto the FCAs Conduct rules and the Firms code of conduct
* Undertake all regulatory training asprescribed by the company and comply with all policies relevant toyour role
* Immediately report any knownconflicts of interest in line with companypolicy

Knowledgeskills and experiencerequired
* Provenexperience in claims management in one or more of the followingareas: travel; international medical and dental healthcare;ancillary products such as motor breakdown home emergency andgadget cover
* Awareness of insurance regulationand compliance matters
* Able to measurestandards to a consistent and objectivelevel
* An ability to gather data analyse andcommunicate results and findings in a clearformat
* A person who can find solutions toproblems
* Strong communication interpersonalskills and comfortable representing Collinson Insurance to externalpartners
* Highly organised and efficient with anability to prioritise plan and meetdeadlines
* Can work independently and as part ofateam
