We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our Energy Markets Team on a permanent basis, based in our offices at Westwood, Coventry.

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our operations meet evolving regulatory standards, supporting the UK's transition to a smarter, greener energy system.
Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Here's what you'll be doing
* Analyse new energy products for additional regulatory obligations and reporting requirements.
* Implement and maintain policies in line with Group standards and UK regulations.
* Review and document regulatory and compliance errors, supporting leadership with clear reporting.
* Conduct ad-hoc call monitoring to detect non-compliant activity and maintain access to recordings for regulatory queries.
* Support UK EMIR & REMIT reporting requirements and monitor developments in exemptions and obligations.
* Conduct horizon scanning for new UK regulatory updates and communicate changes to stakeholders.
* Manage and update online training content, ensuring alignment with UK regulations and annual review cycles.
What we need from you
* Strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements including REMIT, EMIR, and related frameworks.
* Experience in policy implementation, compliance documentation, and regulatory reporting.
* Excellent analytical and documentation skills with the ability to distil complex topics.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with legal, compliance, and operational teams.
* Inquisitive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
It Would Be Great If You Also Had
* Experience in training management and deployment.
* Familiarity with off-market transaction analysis and compliance monitoring tools.
* A background in energy markets or financial services compliance.
