They are a dynamic and motivated team who require an additional Purchase Leger Clerk. This position plays a key part within the finance function and comes with opportunities to learn and progress. What will the Purchase Ledger role involve? To guarantee all entities supplier invoices are processed, and supplier queries dealt with in a timely manner To oversee that all invoice queries in the financial system are resolved in an accurate and timely manner To liaise where necessary with the finance teams, internal and external customers and external suppliers To ensure compliance with finance policies, processes and procedures. Assist the Finance Manager with any ad hoc duties as required. Suitable Candidate for the Purchase Ledger vacancy: Educated to good GCSE level with a strong understanding (Intermediate Level) of Microsoft Excel Previous experience in accounts payable/transaction processing role, strong knowledge of VAT, and familiarity with accounts processes Proven ability to work in a fast-paced office environment with excellent numerate and analytical skills Have excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and methodical approach An excellent communicator in both written and verbal communication.
