Theatre Lead:Devizes
Full-time, 37.5 hrs per week.

We are a positive and growing organisation delivering outstanding care – come and join us. We have an exciting opportunity for an Theatre Lead at our Practice Plus Group Surgical centre -Devizes
This role is a full-time position, working at PPG Devizes Hospital with the main hours being between Mon-Friday.
What you'll be doing
From ear, nose and throat treatments, to foot and ankle surgery, here at Practice Plus Group, the secondary care we provide is second to none. The consistently high CQC ratings our hospitals and surgical centres receive bear testimony to that. And our success is all down to the care, skill and commitment shown by our teams across the UK.
* To lead and work within the theatre teams, providing high quality care for the patients and acting as a resource for a range of specialities
* To plan and manage the implementation of individual care programmes for patients in the perioperative period as part of the theatre team.
* To guide, instruct and monitor junior staff, students and support staff.
* To practice in accordance with Professional Codes and statutory requirements

What we’ll look for in you
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Theatres as part of Scrub Team
* Evidence of mentoring /facilitating learners
* Good understanding of theatre procedures in different specialities
* Able to work within NMC/HCPC Code of conduct.
* Full understanding of the role and its limitations as stated in job description
* Supervisory/ Leadership Skills
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to use evidenced based practice
