We are seeking a talented Software and Diagnostics Engineer to join our dynamic team in Warwick. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the development, testing, and validation of advanced diagnostic tools that support our engineering platforms. Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the ongoing development of our diagnostic toolset.
* Test diagnostic functionalities and software releases to ensure robust performance.
* Support the creation and validation of future diagnostic tools and workflows.
* Analyse diagnostic data to identify and implement improvements.
* Carry out on-vehicle validation of diagnostic functions.
* Collaborate with Integration, Engineering, and Aftersales teams to resolve diagnostic-related issues.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Strong experience with Java, VB.NET and/or C#.
* Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics standards (UDS, CAN, DoIP, ODX).
* Hands-on software development experience.
* Proven ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
* Proficient in Git or other version control systems.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Desirable:
* Prior experience working with diagnostic tools at an OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
