We are looking for Service Leader – Procurementto join our team!
As a Service Leader – Procurement, we rely on you to
* acts as coordinators to various divisions department staff and ensure an efficient filling system to obtain result on procurement functions.
* Ensure that goods being ordered are delivered on time and in good quality.
* Interact closely with operating equipment and other F&B supplier.
* Consolidate food products for better price negotiation and contracts.
* Source quotations from suppliers to ensure purchases are made in the best interest of the company.
* Process assigned PR’s.
* Performs market survey, including competitor hotels and make comparison with current suppliers prices to ensure competitiveness.
* Maintain & regularly update vendor profile files to comply with the Shangri-Larequirements.
* Prepare weekly/monthly reports.
We are looking for someone who:
* Diploma, Degree or any relevant certification in the field.
* Preferably with atleast 2 years work experience in Procurement/Sourcing from any business industry.
* Has good communication and people management skills.
* Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
* Has strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
* Able to communicate priorities and drives business results.
* Demonstrate high level of integrity and honesty.
* Smart with pleasing personality. Has good negotiation skills.
* A self-starter and customer-oriented.
* Displays initiative, commitment to professional values.
* Is a critical thinker and a problem-solver.
* Is knowledgeable in any Procurement System (i.e. SCM, SAP, etc.)
* Is proficient in Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
