Sales Manager – Utility scale Solar + BESS (Inverters & PCS)

💰 £80k–£140k total package + bonus + car allowance (depending on experience)
SR2 are partnering with a fast-growing global renewable energy business expanding its European footprint, and we’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to lead growth across the German solar market.
You’ll play a key role in scaling the company’s presence, focusing on solar inverters, PCS, and broader energy solutions, working closely with EPCs, developers, and investors.
What you’ll be doing:
* Driving new business development across Germany within solar & energy markets
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with EPCs, IPPs, developers, and investors
* Managing key accounts and conducting regular client visits
* Representing the business at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
* Creating and executing sales strategies to hit revenue targets
* Supporting marketing initiatives and expanding customer networks
* Delivering sales forecasts, reporting, and market insights
* Acting as a technical consultant, positioning solutions effectively to clients
What we’re looking for:
* Minimum 3+ years sales experience in solar, inverters, PCS, or related energy solutions
* Strong existing network across German solar developers, EPCs, utilities, or IPPs (essential)
* Background in Engineering, Business, or similar
* Proven ability in business development and account growth
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Self-starter with a target-driven, independent mindset
