The Role:
We are looking for aHGV Driver Class 1 or 2to drive and operate a HGV vehicle, collect from own sites and dispose of waste at various tipping points.
The ideal candidate will:
1. Drive and operate HGV vehicle in line with tachograph laws
2. Pre inspect vehicle, report any defects in a timely manner for rectification
3. Complete relevant paperwork as required by the business and legislation
4. Keep the vehicle clean and report any damage in line with company procedure
Key Skills and Experience:
5. Ability to work under own initiative
6. Full training will be given
7. Positive ‘can do’ attitude
8. Good communication skills
9. HGV Driving License
10. Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
11. Previous experience in a similar role
12. A reasonable level of competency of the English Language (speaking, reading and writing) and basic arithmetic.
