Description
The Prototype Wire Person shall be responsible for the day-to-day Electro-Mechanical Assembly. Building sub-assemblies and complete systems to drawings and build procedures within Ultra Communications. Continuously monitor product quality during build to improve upon production performance targets.
Working within a small team to produce high quality satellite communications equipment to required standards and timescales
* Panel wiring
* Cabling assembly and crimping
* Rack Wiring
* PCB Assembly
* Assembly and re-work of components
* Wiring test boxes
* Soldering, Through Hole, Surface mount components
* Manage security of information as defined in the Information Security Policy.
Essential Skills:
* Experience of electrical /mechanical assembly and wiring, including prototype wiring.
* You take pride in attention to detail, maintain high standards and can work with minimal supervision.
* Ability to read Electrical / Mechanical drawings and work accurately to procedures.
* Creative thinker and eager learner
* Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance.
